Promoting Biomass Energy Utilization with Unique Technology
Our company's "biomass gasification/liquid fuel conversion" technology is based externally heated high-calorie gasification method using a stationary spouted bed developed independently.
In addition to collaborating widely with industry, academia, and government, our business development policy also includes collaboration with local companies in each region. We receive licenses for related third-party patents along with intellectual property rights when necessary, and we also apply for them independently.

Our History

2006
Establishment
Chairman Sakai, with the backing of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF), successfully established the inaugural biomass gasification and methanol synthesis unit. This groundbreaking facility encompasses gasification, conversion of product gas into liquid fuel (methanol), and the harnessing the gas for power generation.

NEDO Project
Shimizu Corporation and BME jointly produced a 30 kW small-scale power generation and methanol synthesis plant using recycled paper as raw material.

2011
Biomass Diesel Oil Positive Success
An oil producer, along with car manufacturer, and BME collaborated to achieve the successful synthesis of biodiesel from biomass.

Biomass Ethanol Positive Success
Chemical maker and BME collaborated to achieve the successful synthesis of biomass ethanol.

2013
Singapore Subsidiary Established
A Singapore-based subsidiary was established to serve as a Southeast Asian hub for access to diverse biomass resources.

Commencement of Our initial Commercial Plant in Singapore.

Ash Collection and Clinker Removal Successful automation
We have achieved the implementation of automated ash technology, enabling uninterrupted operations with various feedstocks, regardless of the ash content or the melting point.

Start Joint Research with Car Manufacturer
Awarded a joint development project for next-generation fuels by Honda R&D.

F1 Fuel Supply
Supplied fuel to Red Bull Honda at the F1 Abu Dhabi Championship and other events in 2021 December.
